Frequently asked questions

Short answers about plans, top-ups and connecting. All prices are in USD.

General

What is HiProxy?

A place to buy proxies with a prepaid USD balance. Sign up with a username and password, add balance, pick a plan in the dashboard and connect.

Which proxy types can I buy?

Four. Residential is paid by the GB and unlimited residential by the day. Static ISP and datacenter are paid per IP per month.

Which countries can I get IPs in?

Residential, unlimited residential and static ISP work in 60 countries. Datacenter covers 18. Many countries also let you pick a city.

Which protocols are supported?

HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 on every plan. The host is gate.hiproxy.shop, with port 6100 for HTTP and HTTPS and port 6200 for SOCKS5.

How do I get started?

Sign up, add at least $30, then buy a plan. Your proxy username and password are created the moment you sign up and appear in the dashboard.

Can I have more than one account?

Up to 3 accounts can be created from the same IP address. One account can hold several plans at once, so one is usually enough.

Unlimited residential

How do I pay for unlimited residential?

By the day, with no traffic meter. The day rate depends on concurrent connections, bandwidth and length. 200 connections at 100 Mbps for 1 day is $4.75.

What is the lowest day rate?

200 connections at 100 Mbps on a 90 day plan is $3.61 a day. 1,000 connections at 200 Mbps is $10.33 for 1 day, or $8.78 a day on 30 days ($263.40 total).

Is a longer plan cheaper?

Yes. 7 days or more takes 6% off the day rate, 30 days or more 15%, and 90 days or more 24%.

Which lengths are available?

The plan cards are Day (1 day), Week (7 days), Month (30 days) and Quarter (90 days). In the dashboard you can set anything from 1 to 365 days.

What are concurrent connections and bandwidth?

Concurrent connections is how many connections you can keep open at once: 200, 500, 1,000 or 2,000. Bandwidth is the speed cap of the plan: 100, 200, 500 or 1,000 Mbps.

Can I pick the country on an unlimited plan?

Yes. Add a country code such as -cc-us to the username, and you can switch countries per request. Without a sticky session the IP changes on every request.

Residential

How much is 1 GB of residential traffic?

The more you buy at once, the less each GB costs: 5~24 GB $0.41, 25~99 GB $0.38, 100~499 GB $0.35, 500~1,999 GB $0.32, and 2,000 GB or more $0.28.

How long can I use the traffic I buy?

There is no time limit. Traffic stays on your account until it is used, so you can buy a big pack at a lower rate and use it slowly.

How small or large can an order be?

Anywhere from 5 to 5,000 GB in one order. The plan cards are Lite 25 GB, Plus 100 GB, Pro 500 GB and Max 2,000 GB. Plus is a good place to start.

Residential or unlimited residential?

If your usage is small or uneven, residential fits, and leftover traffic waits for later. If you steadily use more than about 10~13 GB a day, unlimited residential costs less.

Can I target a city?

Yes. Add a -city- value to the username, for example -cc-us-city-new_york. Many of the 60 countries have city targeting.

When does the IP change?

Without a session ID it changes on every request. To keep one IP, add -sid- with any ID, and set how long it holds with -ttl-, up to 60 minutes.

Static ISP and datacenter

What is a static ISP proxy?

One IP that only you use for the whole period you paid for. It suits accounts and tools that need to log in from the same address every day.

How much is a static ISP proxy?

Priced per IP per month: 1~9 IPs $0.29, 10~49 IPs $0.27, 50~249 IPs $0.25, and 250 IPs or more $0.23. You can buy 1~1,000 IPs.

How much is a datacenter proxy?

Priced per IP per month: 5~99 IPs $0.15, 100~499 IPs $0.13, and 500 IPs or more $0.11. You can buy 5~5,000 IPs.

Do longer periods cost less?

Yes. Both products come in 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, with 3% off for 3 months, 6% for 6 months and 10% for 12 months. For example, 10 static ISP IPs for 12 months cost $28.80 instead of $32.40.

Which countries can I choose?

Static ISP is available in 60 countries and datacenter in 18. You pick the country when you order.

How are static ISP and datacenter different?

Static ISP IPs are registered to internet providers, so sites see an ordinary home or office line. Datacenter IPs come from server networks, cost less, and suit fast, high volume work.

Balance and billing

How do I add balance?

Send crypto through the payment window. We accept USDT (TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana), USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL and LTC.

What is the smallest top-up?

The minimum is $30, or $20 from 72 lower-income countries. The most you can add in one top-up is $5,000.

How big is the top-up bonus?

Top-ups of $100 or more get bonus balance: $100+ gets +20%, $200+ +25%, $300+ +30%, $500+ +35%, $1,000+ +40%, $3,000+ +45%, and $5,000 +50%. A $300 top-up adds a $90 bonus, so $390 lands in your balance. Under $100 there is no bonus.

Do you give refunds?

Refunds go to your balance. Failed, cancelled or not-activated orders return the full amount there. Balance cannot be withdrawn to a wallet.

Does my balance expire?

No. It stays on your account and can be spent on any product later.

My order says activating. Why?

That is shown after payment while the network turns the plan on. If it cannot be activated, the order is cancelled and the full amount goes back to your balance.

Setup and connection

How do I connect?

Point your tool at gate.hiproxy.shop, port 6100 for HTTP and HTTPS or port 6200 for SOCKS5. Use the proxy username and password from your dashboard.

Which options go in the username?

Pick the product with -zone-res, -zone-unl, -zone-isp or -zone-dc, the country with -cc-us and the city with -city-new_york. Use -sid- for a sticky session and -ttl- for its length in minutes. Example: hpexample1-zone-res-cc-us-sid-a1

How do I keep one IP for a while?

Add -sid- and any ID you like. Requests with the same ID keep the same IP for up to 60 minutes, and -ttl- sets a shorter or longer hold.

Can I connect without a password?

Yes. Add up to 10 server IPv4 addresses under Allowed IPs in the dashboard, and those addresses connect with no password.

How do I change the proxy password?

Create a new one in the dashboard, then put it into the tools and scripts you use.

Does changing my login password change the proxy?

No. The login password and the proxy password are separate. Changing it only signs out your other devices; your proxy details stay the same.
